Hello, World!

Where are you supposed to start with a blog like this? Do I write an actual story? Or do I make some long-winded technical or philosophical musing? I think many people would believe the first blog post sets the tone for the whole thing, but when was the last time you started reading a blog at chapter one? Maybe this is the one! If so, welcome.
